The Electronic and Financial Crimes Unit is responsible for investigating all financial crimes and computer-related crimes. Computer forensic investigators offer support to all investigative and administrative units within the department. These computer forensic investigators are responsible for securing, imaging, and analyzing all digital evidence.

Pennsylvania State Police – Central Area Computer Crimes Task Force
The Central Area Computer Crimes Task Force is responsible for investigating computer-related crimes ranging from fraud to child pornography.
Lancaster County Office of the District Attorney – Computer Forensic Unit
The Computer Forensic Unit was established in 2003 and is currently comprised of one sworn police officer, who is a detective, and one civilian analyst. The members of Computer Forensic Unit are assigned to the Pennsylvania State Police Central Area Computer Crimes Task Force, as well as the Pennsylvania Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (l.C.A.C.). The Computer Forensic Unit supervises a computer crimes task force currently consisting of five sworn police officers from various Municipal Police Departments in Lancaster County,
Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office – Computer Crimes Unit
The Computer Crimes Unit continues to meet the technical requirements and computer skills for investigating 21st century crimes, to include identity theft, child pornography / enticement, Credit Card Fraud, Check Forgery, and E-mail Harassment. In addition, the unit has the ability to conduct forensic examinations on many electronic devices such as computers and cell phone
Newberg-Dundee Police – Computer Crime Unit
Newberg-Dundee Police began conducting digital investigations in 2003. The CCU has a dedicated, secure lab. The CCU lab consists of a dedicated evidence processing station, individual examiner workstations and a secure evidence storage room. Examination equipment consists of multiple state of the art forensic workstations for each examiner; hardware based forensic imaging tools; cellular telephone acquisition systems; and mobile examination equipment. Examiners assigned to the CCU hold multiple computer forensics and technology certifications.
Scottsdale PD – Computer Crime Unit
The Computer Crimes Unit, in addition to computer examinations, completes video enhancement requests, analyzes cell phones and provides technical investigatory assistance, while continuing to investigate its own computer-related criminal cases. Along side the standard criminal investigations, the unit also began to assist the City of Scottsdale’s Information Services in data recovery on corrupted city terminals.
Redding PD – High Tech Crimes Unit
Investigators assigned to this unit are responsible for the forensic examination of computers and the investigation of computer-related crimes.
Boca Raton PD – Economic and Computer Crimes Unit
The economic crime unit investigates fraud, forgery, and embezzlement cases. The computer crime team investigates Internet fraud, child pornography, cyber stalking and other crimes involving the use of computers.
Chandler PD – Computer Crimes Unit
The Computer Crimes Unit conducts forensic analysis of computers, cellular phones, digital media, and video media suspected to contain evidence of crimes as requested by any department in the police department. This unit conducts proactive online investigations (file sharing and luring) aimed at identifying and making viable criminal cases against individuals who prey on children via the Internet.
