Training

There are readily available resources for police executives to receive cyber crime training.

The National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) provides a nationwide support system for law enforcement and regulatory agencies involved in the prevention, investigation and prosecution of economic and high-tech crime.
NW3C delivers training in cyber and financial crime investigations and intelligence analysis. NW3C offers analytical technical support to agencies investigating and prosecuting white collar and related crimes.  We conduct original research on all facets of white collar crime.  Classes are available online and in classrooms taught at agencies across the country.

In addition, the FBI has developed an extensive curriculum of free training related to cybercrime. For more information, please see the FBI’s Cyber Shield Alliance.
