Training

The National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) provides a nationwide support system for law enforcement and regulatory agencies involved in the prevention, investigation and prosecution of economic and high-tech crime.
NW3C delivers training in cyber and financial crime investigations and intelligence analysis. NW3C offers analytical technical support to agencies investigating and prosecuting white collar and related crimes.  We conduct original research on all facets of white collar crime.  Classes are available online and in classrooms taught at agencies across the country.

There are an increasing number of resources available to law enforcement from a growing number of providers and colleges. For more information about training opportunities specific to individual positions and tasks, visit the National Initiative for Cyber Security Careers and Studies, which provides an interactive map allowing users to search for courses based on topic area or by job title.

The FBI has also developed an extensive curriculum of free training related to cyber crime. For more information, please see the FBI’s Cyber Shield Alliance.
